2008.04.09 About BIS-RTD project The BIS-RTD project aims at establishing a permanent co-operation platform among European regions to facilitate the emergence and circulation of good practices and contribute to RTD policy making coordination, so as to ensure the spreading and (partial) adoption of effective adoption models of good practices.

2007.11.26 PRO INNO EUROPE - INNO NETS - Central and Eastern European ClusterNetwork The implementation of the CEE ClusterNetwork project started in September 2006 under the co-ordination of the West Pannon Regional Development Agency Hungary. The goal of the 1st Work Package was the examination of the nature of clusters in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), their structure, activities and strategies. We also provided policy recommendations on how to foster and develop clusters the best in the CEE context.

2007.06.20 Study trip in the West Pannon Region A Serbian delegation consisting of representatives of ministries, regional development agencies and chambers visited to the West Pannon Region. The West Pannon Regional Development Agency was asked to organise the cluster study trip.

2007.06.18 CORINNA -Interregional Database of R&D Organisations An R&D database containing data of enterprises, institutes, departments of universities, research institutes of partner regions (among them West Pannon Region ) has been prepared in the partnership with the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Centre for Regional Studies West-Hungarian Research Institute in the frames of the CORINA Interreg IIIC project. The primary aim of the database is to facilitate the search of enterprises for R&D partners in the neighbouring areas (Burgenland, Carinthia, Styria, Slovenia and Friuli Venezia Giulia).

2007.03.17 Final press conference of REGINS project in Linz The final press conference of REGINS project, which is aimed to improve the co-operative research-development activity of national and international universities, institutes and enterprises, was held in Linz on 8th March.
